Hampshire College's new summer program, the Creative Media Institute, is a series of intensive screening seminars and creative labs led entirely by visiting artists working in film, video, photography, and new media. The institute will run from July 7 - August 9 this summer.
The Institute brings undergraduate students and professionals together with creative pioneers to share works and have discussions and to learn from one another. The focus for summer 2014 is Nonfiction Media. Filmmakers Ken Burns, Ivy Meeropol, Brett Morgen, and Robert Greene and festival programmer Charlotte Cook will be featured visiting artists.
